You've Heard of a Blue Moon: But What Is a Black Moon?

You've likely heard of a blue moon, but have you heard of a black one? A Blue moon is a term used to describe the second full moon that might occur within one calendar month. Likewise, a black moon is the second new moon that occurs within one calendar month.
Any time there is a repeated lunation within a one month period, we're being given an opportunity to engage in potent magick, and while you might be more occupied with divination or celebration during a full moon, new moons are time for planting seeds and engaging in rest.
The next black moon we have will take place on December 30th, 2024, at 2:27pm.
During this upcoming black moon, the last one being about a year and a half prior, we might feel called to plant powerful seeds. Coinciding with the new year and millions of resolutions, this black moon is opening a doorway to reap the benefits of the actions we take to bring about our vision with more return than we can anticipate.
